by Matt Woods | March 5th, 2013

It would be hard to argue that any team has enjoyed a better week than Louisville. Over the last seven days the Cardinals earned road wins at DePaul and Syracuse, as well as a home win over Cincinnati. Consequently, UL greatly improved their advancement odds in our latest bracket picks.

In fact, in our most recent 2013 NCAA bracket picks Louisville improved more than any other team in the country over the past week in odds to make the Elite 8, Final Four, and championship game, as well as odds to win the national title.

Specifically, the Cardinals’ chances of making the quarterfinals are now over 50%, and our NCAA bracket picks see Louisville as the third most likely team to win the tournament, behind just Indiana and Florida.

Having won nine of its previous ten contests, the Cardinals appear to have fully bounced back from a mid-season three-game losing streak, and a home game against Notre Dame is all that stands between Louisville and 26-win regular season.
