2013 NCAA Bracket Predictions: Cal Back In The Mix
California lost five of seven games during a stretch from the beginning of December to early January. Notably, though, all five of those losses were to teams currently represented in our 2013 NCAA bracket predictions. Still, as the losses piled up, an NCAA tournament birth looked bleak.
In fact, three weeks ago our NCAA bracket predictions gave Cal just a 16.6% chance to make the tourney. Since that time, however, the Bears have taken down Oregon, Arizona and UCLA, among others. Importantly, the Ducks, Wildcats and Bruins are currently seeded 2, 7 and 5 respectively in our 2013 NCAA bracket predictions.
On the back of that recent run of success California now has 60% odds to make the big dance, and we project the Bears to make the play-in game in our most recent bracket predictions.
Cal closes the season with a road trip to Oregon to take on the Ducks and Beavers, before returning home to end the season with three straight home games. The Bears are one of our last teams in, so finishing strong is imperative to remaining in our 2013 NCAA bracket predictions.

Two years in a row at the kiddie table, while Oregon whom they swept gets a seven seed? Total lack of respect for cal!! If this happens, refuse the bid,and go to the nit as a 1or 2 seed! A lot more fun for bear fans
