2013 NCAA Bracket Predictions: Hoyas On The Rise

by Matt Woods | February 14th, 2013

Gerogetown opened Big East play with a lackluster 2-3 record. While the Hoyas were in still in good shape to make the tournament at that time, we predicted Georgetown only to land a 9 seed in our 2013 NCAA bracket predictions.

Since January 21st, however, Georgetown has won six straight, including wins over Notre Dame, Louisville and Marquette, all teams our NCAA bracket predictions expect to make the tourney. As a result of that win streak, Georgetown has improved more than any other team in our bracket predictions over the last three weeks, and the Hoyas average predicted seed is now 5.7.

With two games against Syracuse looming, and a matchup with Cincinnati tomorrow night, if Georgetown can keep the win steak going their expected seed should continue to improve dramatically in our 2013 NCAA bracket predictions.
