@ John K. I agree with you. I do not think Southern Illinois should get an at-large bid, but the committee is impressed with their non-conference schedule(Indiana, vs USC, Saint Louis, Butler, Nevada, Saint Mary’s), but David Mihm’s job is to project what he thinks what the commitee will do, not always the fairness on the commitee’s part. And if anyone tries to tell they don’t take into account the past history of a team like SIU, that’s wrong.

I think the committee would try it’s darndest to avoid a Kent State, Xavier matchup in the second round since they already played this year.

No UAB, no Florida and no Virginia Tech? Florida is fine with me over Kentucy (we’re splitting hairs until they meet. But Va Tech — 17-11 overall, 8-6 in the ACC? Huh?

It won’t matter what we say about Kentucky. If Florida beats them(and I have all the confidence in the world we will) then Kentucky will be out. There is no possible way for the commitee to take Kentucky over Florida if we sweep them.

@ John K. The MVC gets 3 teams because all the other bubble teams choked, so it basically fell into the Valley’s lap.

You move Kentucky up and you move Arizona down and they both lost.

Arizona has 10 wins vs. top 100 RPI
Kentucky has 4 wins vs. top 100 RPI

For the most part I agree with this Bracket.

I would drop St. Joseph’s and Arizona due to their HOME losses today.

I would add Western Kentucky and UAB.

Adjustments:
Moving up!
Clemson, Wash St., Purdue, Baylor, Pitt, South Alabama, Kentucky

Moving Down:
Indiana, K-State, Gonzaga, Ariz State, St. Mary’s
