Again, I'm shocked that I have Stanford reaching the Final Four. I've badmouthed the Cardinal on numerous occasions this season. But I just love the way they match up; I think Mitch Johnson is vastly improved over last year, and Anthony Goods has been hot enough in recent games to keep defenses honest (and away from the Lopez twins).
KU-UNC could be the most entertaining game of the Tournament, if we get there. Hansbrough-Jackson will be just one of a host of matchups I'm already salivating over.
It's said to be very difficult to beat a team three times in the same season...what about four? That's exactly what I'm predicting will happen with UCLA over Stanford.
Last year's Elite Eight matchup with UCLA and Kansas was in San Jose, in front of a very pro-Bruin crowd. In Big XII country (San Antonio), I'm giving KU the edge. Plus, I think the Jayhawks have improved, whereas UCLA is still "only" as good as last year.
