I've watched every BYU game this year and the matchups for Gators with this one will be a big challenge. Florida really doesn't have anyone at the Guard line to stop Fredette from penetrating to the bucket. He makes great passes when doubled up and hits the open man for triples on the outside i.e. Tavenari etc.

The Cougars share the ball extremely well and for the Gators to have any chance in this one they will have to limit BYU in transition which is where they score in bunches.

They play very good team defense especially with a very active Zone where they step into the passing lanes and get a lot of tips and takeaways. The stopper on defense without question is Jackson Emery who lead the conference in steals.

The clear weakness the BYU has is rebounding and not being able to contain a teams speed in man to man defense. The losses this year has been where they were outrebounded and unable to get stops with not marching up with a team that is long and quick.

I still like BYU in this 7/10 matchup. The Cougars are on a mission this year to get out of the first round which they haven't done in quite some time. This team has Balanced scoring and they go 10 deep which I think you need come tournament time.
