@David Mihm- almost? this is college hoops not horseshoes or hand-grenades. and again, AT WORST 21 - 10 (8-8) and the two time defending champions . . . . They will be in on that alone . . . plus the SEC is the #6 RPI conference and will soon take over the Little Eleven for #5

@soup du jour - Florida's non-conference resume has almost NO meat on it, and a .500 record in the #7 RPI conference is not going to cut it in March...

Great game last night between the rebels and vols. Both are looking solid so far, and it seems as if both will be making some noise within the conference while strengthening their resumes for the dance come March!

I'd just like to know how the two-time defending national champeens who at worst will finish .500 in the conference and 21 - 10 overall isn't goin' dancin'.

Mr. Evans, you need to get some Windex and clean that crystal ball of yours cuz I don't think you are seeing things clearly....

Nick,

Matthew sent this to me and I plan on reading it tonight, but just browsing through I noticed you misspelled Gillispie (sort of a strange spelling).

In all my years of following the SEC almost religiously, I have read dozens of analysis on the players, as well as the teams. To date, this is easily the most comprehensive and accurate forecast of the chances each team has for the season. Not only is the author right on with his analysis, his mastery of the details is incredible. The "Impact Newcomer" and "Go To Guy" sections are particularly revealing, and will help guide my picks as I gamble away my meager inheritance. This breakdown will undoubtedly leave my bookie in tears as I decimate him with my cleverly intuitive picks, and will allow my children to eat actual food, instead of the cardboard scraps and Elmer's Glue that I have been feeding them for the past 2 weeks.

To sum this article up: Pure Mastery. Incredible Scrutiny. Unstoppable Dominance.

I absolutely would like to see more from this author. With his incredible and comprehensive authority on the SEC, coupled with his subtle and powerful control of the English language, look for Mr. Evans to become the preeminent analyst of college basketball.
